Samuel Opuni Boateng is a Procurement and Supply Chain professional with over 15 years of experience in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and end-to-end supply chain operations across the financial services, INGO, logistics, and education sectors.

He has led procurement transformation initiatives and supported the establishment of procurement functions in various organizations, including significant IT procurement projects within the banking sector and last-mile operations. He also previously served as Manager, Global Procurement at the British Council, where he oversaw procurement activities across the UK, EMEA, and the Americas, managing multi-category spend across Africa.

Samuel is a Chartered Member of CIPS (MCIPS) and GIPS (MGIPS), as well as an ISO 27001 Certified Lead Implementer. He brings a strong combination of technical expertise and strategic insight, with a focus on efficiency, risk management, sustainability, and supplier diversity.

He has been recognized as the Emerging Male Procurement Professional of the Year in Africa and maintains a strong interest in emerging trends shaping the future of procurement, including artificial intelligence and digital transformation.
